Hey hey :) My name is Neila D, I was raised in Southwest Tennessee and spent many loving years traveling, adventuring and finding new joys with family and friends. I've always loved unique pets! My family has always been welcoming to nature's interesting creatures and oddballs alike. I grew up with a pond in our backyard that housed many large comet goldfish, a wild bullfrog and a brim I caught that we eventually returned back to his home. I started out with keeping guppies and also had a leopard gecko rescue. Like many, I picked up on fishkeeping at a young age, though too young to grasp the concept of husbandry. As one does, I grew distant from the hobby and opened doors to other interests. As time went on, I easily fell head-first back into the hobby with fishkeeping now as one of my strongest passions. My Aquatic Collection started with a different aspect. ND'sAquaticCollection was first GuppyNation. I started unintentionally breeding guppies, (which is insanely easy to do) and figured my best solution would be to sell them. I put my best efforts into making my small business (at age 17) and bred my guppies. I watched over them daily and made maintenance a fun chore. I did my best making content (though I realized how hard that can be) and kept going. Although, during this time I had been going through a medical emergency. I was born with a rare vascular disorder, called Nutcracker Syndrome, making my kidney swell with fluid and my ureter unable to drain my left kidney. Between the highly chronic pain, many doctors' visits, different procedures, testing, 2 big surgeries, 18 years and 7 super sick scars later, GuppyNation was inactive, and my fear came true. That I would leave this big project that I put on display, unfinished.
I knew I wasn't done though. Not after so much effort. So here is my new collection, where I do my absolute best to find the coolest and most fitting aquatic creatures, fishtanks, aquarium supplies and equipment just for you (and me) because I know how important this is to us.
